Admission to Twin Town Treatment Centers incorporates assessment at several different levels including biological screens, psychological and social functional assessments, and substance abuse history.
Assessment of any patient who presents a condition which could lead to morbidity or lethality, or which gives indication the patient may not be appropriate for outpatient treatment must be reviewed with the Medical Advisor/ Consultant, or Director of Operations/ Clinical Services.
Twin Town refers to community providers for support services, including: nutritional assessment and counseling; medical assessments and treatment including pain management; psychiatric assessment and services; vocational assessment, counseling and rehabilitation; educational assessment and services; peer support; etc.
If the patient is returning from detox, the primary care physician or Medical Advisor may give verbal approval for admission. If the physician requests, the patient will be referred to the doctor's office for medical clearance.
